MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  This one is particularly special because its my first one!!  I got to experience all the Christmas traditions like breakfast before, a Christmas Story, and NBA basketball!  Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas or as my dad says, Happy Jesus' Birthday!!

SANTA! I KNOW HIM!!

 

On Sunday night at our Carols by Candlelight service I got to meet Santa Claus! My dad loves the movie Elf so that is why I chose this title for today's post! Anyways, I talked to Santa about what I would like for Christmas this year.  He told me that I have to be good until Christmas in order for me to get what I want and remain on the nice list.  I am sure mom and dad will be happy if I can stay on that list too!!! I know I have a lot of hair but Santa's beard was a little bit overwhelming for me and that is why I was trying to pull away in the picture with him!!

BAD HAIR DAY

Today mom gave me a bath and afterwards I was having a very bad hair day.  It got better as mom combed it and put a bow in my hair but it started out pretty bad!  Afterwards, we all went to Southlands to walk around where mom got me some more stuff for my hair. You know, to help me out in future instances!

SMALL GROUP ADVENTURES

Tonight we packed the backpacks our small group is giving out to the homeless next week.  It was a lot of fun to hang out and do that at dad and mom's small group.  We talked about the importance of reading your Bible which everyone should do!!  I am starting to sleep a little better but am still fussy at times.  But mom and dad just got a new mattress memory topper from Grandma and Grandpa so they are sleeping a little better!!  wink wink :)

ADJUSTING

I am adjusting to life at home.  I've been here for a little over a week now.  My initial doctor visits are done and went well.  Mom and dad take me to my pediatrictian on Friday for the first time!  Last week I watched the Eagles with mom and everyone.  Tomorrow, the Browns play the hated Steelers.  Maybe I can bring them good luck and a win!  I'm sleeping better and not keeping mom and dad up so much now.  I still eat a ton and when I do cry...I have a good set of pipes!!

EAGLES GAME AND FIRST BATH

Thursday night I got all dressed up to watch the Eagles game with mom and the fam.  Unfortunately they weren't as happy as dad was when I watched the Buckeyes with him because the Eagles lost.  Of course, he wasn't happy because his fantasy football player he had on his team didn't do well either! But it was awesome to watch my first Philadelphia Eagles game and see how intense my family can get watching sports!!

Saturday morning I got my first bath at home and to say the least...I was not happy!  But I got all fresh and clean and mommy's friend came over to take some pictures of me and mom and dad.  So, I didn't like it but it needed to be done!

ENJOYIN HOME

This is me and Dad before we got home but now I am home and adjusting.  The last couple of nights were kinda rough because I was always hungry and needed changed.  But the doctor came to the house today to check up on me and everything was GREAT!  They want me to gain a little more weight so they have me having formula with my mom feeding me and its working out awesome.  Last night while we were chillin at home, dad and I watched our beloved Buckeyes.  They played Duke and beat them by like 20 points!  It was awesome to watch my first Ohio State game with dad and there will be plenty more where that came from!  Mom gets her time with me tomorrow when the Eagles play on Thursday night!!

COMIN' HOME

I made it through the process of birth and tests at Sky Ridge.  Now its time to head home.  I am all suited up and on my way back to my new house.  I have never seen it yet but I heard its a tight crib!!  Ready to start life at home now!  It was a crazy 48 Hours!  Saturday at 3:58pm I was born into the world and now at 3:44pm I arrived home to 4457 S. Jebel Court.  And so it begins...

BIRTH NOVEMBER 26th 2011 3:58PM

Today I came into the world at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado at 3:58pm on November 26th, 2011.  I weighed 8lbs. and 7oz. and was 20 inches long!  I came out with a nice thick patch of hair though!  My mom was awesome through the birthing process and got me out quick!!  I am now chillin in this new world and have two new great parents to guide me!
